该中间体在本合成路线中的序号：(I)The title amide was prepared by coupling of 2,3-dihydrobenzodioxin-6-carboxylic acid (I) with piperidine (II). Carbonyldiimidazole or some chlorinating reagents, such as thionyl chloride or oxalyl chloride, were used as the carboxylate-activating reagents for the coupling reaction. Alternatively, acid (I) was previously converted to an activated mixed anhydride with either pivaloyl chloride or trifluoroacetic anhydride in the presence of triethylamine.
